Clubs and Activities

FREE BREAKFAST CLUB at HB – Starting Tuesday 14th April 26 from 8:00am onwards.

Did someone say FREE??? WE SURE DID!!!

Monday to Friday 8.00am – 8.30am. Term time only (Breakfast Club will also be closed during Inset Days).  Pupils will be collected by staff members at 8:30am and accompanied to the relevant classroom.

Doors close at 8:30am. Breakfast stops being served at 8.25am. All children are welcome from Reception to Year 6.

Booking

Our Breakfast Club is very popular and we have limited places! To reserve your child’s place at Breakfast club, please book via My Child At School (MCAS), telephone booking or by visiting our main office.  This remains on a first come first serve basis.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. If you require any support accessing MCAS, we would be more than happy to help in the school office.

Food and Drink

We offer cereal, toast, semi skimmed milk and fruit juices every day.  We also have a “Special Breakfast” each week, please keep an eye out for messages for the Weekly Special.

Breakfast Club Activities

Breakfast Club is a great place for children to eat breakfast with their friends and also make new friends.

We have had a revamp for our new breakfast club and added various new activity tables (from Pupil Suggestions). Each day there will be tables available which will include:

Games Table – Flying Panda’s, Wobbly Worms Jenga, Uno, Wibble Wobble Football, Ring Toss and Giant Connect 4 (weather permitted)

Puzzle Table – Rubiks Cubes, Handheld Puzzles, Wordsearch and Electronic Memory Games

Colouring Table – Colouring Felt Tips, Twistable Crayons, Markers, Stamps, Activity Pads (Avengers, Frozen, LOL, Paw Patrol and Disney Princess)

Crafts Table – Loom Band Making, Bracelet Making, Make Your Own Keyring, Minecraft Sticker galore

Monthly Theme Table – This term the theme will be SUMMER and will include the following indoor and outdoor activities:-

Window Decorating (with stencils and window markers) for our canteen and school corridors

Chalk Eggs – lets draw summer themes in colour around our school yards, paths and walls.

Smoothie Making – Lets go crazy with the fruit and enjoy your own smoothie!

Sand Art Bracelets – Make your own sand bracelet and take it home with you

Windmill Making – Lets help brighten up our School Quad Areas by making your own windmill.

We will also have outside activities for the pupils to enjoy, including BUBBLE MANIA (Bubble pots and bubble machines for our pupils to enjoy)

We are also excited that we will opening the Arcade Room one day per week (in the smaller canteen) which will include Arcade Games (Pinball Wizard, Grabbing Machines, Football Table, Arcade Bowling Alley and an Electronic Basket Ball machine which will score points and light up with every DUNK!! Weekly prizes will also be available.

We hope to see pupils in our new breakfast club and enjoying the fun activites whilst eating their breakfast and making new friends!

We will send a survey out to parents in May to get further pupil voice and to see what the pupils are enjoying or, what they would like to see at the Breakfast Club.

Autumn 1 Clubs

Running Club with Mrs Costello – Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays – 8:00am until 8:30am – Free of Charge to pupils from Year 1 to Year 6

All Pupils attending running club will also be provided with breakfast, forming part of our new FREE breakfast club!!!
